National Honor Society
NHS Advisor: Mrs. Newman
It's time to think about applying for membership in the National Honor Society. Applications will be abailable the day fall trimester 2007 grade reports are received. Mebership is based on a 3.78 cumulative GPA, with no N's or U's in citizenship.
In addition, applicants must complete a service project within the year prededing their application to the National Honor Society. This project may be sponsored by the school, your church, a community organization, or a person project of your choice that can be verified by a supervisor. Applicants must also have leadership experience. This may be through sports teams, church organizations, community organizations, school, ect. The Bear River High School National Honor Society is open to all juniors and seniors.
**The application is quite extensive; it is advised that those interested in applying get the form early because signatures are required.
Membership fee is $15.00, payable to advisor before the induction ceremony |
