Late-Start Day Explanation

The tardy bell for first hour rings at 10:00 a.m. and students attend each of their five classes on a shortened schedule. Lunch is served on late-start days and lunch hours are not shortened to accommodate the late-start schedule. Bridgerland students leave after 2nd hour (refer to bell schedule link on the web page for exact times).

Buses will run 2 hours later than your regular schedule. There will be no Bridgerland buses on District Late-Start Days.

Late-start days allow the faculty to meet together from 7:30 until 9:45 a.m. for additional training and planning.
