I’m Aubrey Hammond! I am from Brigham City and I love this community! I love to spend time with family and friends, bake and read. I just graduated from Utah State University and I can’t wait to join the Golden Spike team teaching kindergarten!
Hi! My name is Candice Nichols and I'm excited to be teaching 3rd grade at Golden Spike this fall. I am married and have three boys. I ride a dirt bike, love soccer, and I’m thrilled when I win card games. I am the loudest mom on the sidelines when cheering my boys on at sporting events, love my morning workouts, and nothing is better then ending the day with ice cream and Oreos.
I have been working for BESD as an aide at Lake View Elementary for the last 6 years. It was there that I found my love and passion for teaching, so I went back to college while working and raising a family. I graduated from Weber State University in April with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I can’t wait to share my love of learning with the students. See you soon, Golden Spike Elementary!
Hello, Golden Spike families. My family moved here from Florida, where I have been teaching full-time for the last 14 years. I have worked with students from grades K-8 and have enjoyed working in the classroom as well as with school-wide teams and extracurricular future teacher, school news, and drama clubs. I completed both of my degrees from Stetson University all while I was a mom with small kids, so I know that with hard work and determination you can learn anything you set your mind to! I look forward to teaching 2nd grade at Golden Spike this fall and working with all the amazing students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
